Part 2: Unveiling Fear's Power
🌟 FEAR HAS TORMENT 🌟
January 8, 2024
Apostle Misty Holmes Dorsey
💖 Scriptures for Reflection:
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, love, and a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32
Defining Fear:
Fear is a Spirit determined to paralyze, presenting itself as powerful and destructive. It's more than an emotion; it has motives to keep you in bondage, focusing on past failures. But there's good news—fear is no match for God's plan.
📖 Additional Scriptures:
I Timothy 1:7 (KJV): "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, love, and a sound mind."
I John 4:17-18 (KJV): "Herein is our love made perfect... There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear..."
Facing Fear with Maturity:
Fear loses its grip as love matures. Christ, our Head, conquers fear, empowering us. Don't let fear disqualify you.
🌈 Claiming Victory:
John 4:14 (KJV): "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst..."
Overcoming Fear:
Successfully battling fear requires strength from God. Just as we may swing between overestimating and underestimating the devil, we must find a balanced view of fear.
When we overestimate Satan, our fears become visible, allowing fear to take hold. However, underestimating fear is unwise, for it is a real adversary. Recognize fear's tactics but rely on God's strength to face it.
Balancing Fear's Perspective:
Maintain a middle ground – recognizing fear's tactics but relying on God's strength to face it. Have a balanced approach where you acknowledge the reality of fear, understand its tactics, but ultimately trust in God's power to help you overcome it.
Practical Steps for Overcoming Fear:
In Part 3, we'll delve deeper into practical steps for overcoming fear and stepping into a life of boldness and love. Stay tuned for empowering insights!
🙏 Day 2 Prayer for Courage:
Heavenly Father, grant me the courage to confront my fears. Help me recognize Your power within me. I surrender my thoughts to You and trust in Your perfect love. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Part 1: Unmasking Fear's Grip
🌟 FEAR HAS TORMENT 🌟
January 7, 2024
Apostle Misty Holmes Dorsey
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18 (KJV)
Transparency: A Divine Weapon:
Transparency, a divine weapon from God, exposes the plans, tricks, and tactics of the enemy. Throughout the Bible, God showcases the potency of transparency using various leaders. Understanding the impact of the spirit of fear is crucial, as it releases a tormenting spirit with a destructive agenda.
Personal Triumph Over Fear:
Fear's grip on my life extended from childhood into my early twenties. Even in the midst of ministry, fear persisted until I cast it upon God. I not only sought deliverance but also freedom from the chains that bound me. God responded miraculously, revealing that fear had no place in His divine plan. Embracing the purpose of Jesus—to dismantle the works of the devil and set me free—brought about a beautiful and refreshing freedom. Rising above fear required understanding my identity, calling, and the power within me. Fear was afraid of me stepping into my identity, aiming to paralyze and hinder my God-given purpose. Perfect love and fear cannot coexist.
💖 Key Scriptures for Reflection:
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32
Confronting Fear's Deception:
Perfect love must be manifested, and this requires a genuine understanding of love without jealousy, motives, or hidden agendas. Embrace mature individuals who speak the truth, for truth and love are powerful weapons against fear. Love, accompanied by truth, renders fear powerless.
🙏 Day 1 Prayer for Freedom:
Dear God, I surrender my fears to You. Cast out the spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect love. Grant me the strength to walk boldly in Your purpose, free from the chains that once bound me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Stay tuned for Part 2, #FreedomFromFear #OvercomingFear
🔑 Keys to the Kingdom 🔑
By Apostle Misty Holmes Dorsey
It's time to shift into a new mindset and step into this season of open doors. Let the mind of Christ work in and through you. Enter into the higher place and let God reveal who you are and your purpose for the kingdom. Seize this crucial time; those with ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
This year has brought traumatic blows to the Body of Christ, but remember, God is still on the throne, orchestrating extraordinary things. The turmoil in the world and the church hasn't shaken God; He knows all things.
📖 Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) 📖 "
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord."
Talking about the challenges that have tried to blemish the Church, God guarantees triumph and success if our hearts are clean, desiring to fulfill His will. We must heed God's Word, recognizing our authority as children of the Most High.
"Remember, God has given us the power and authority to reject false accusations in these last days. The Word of God is designed to work in our favor. Trust that the truth will prevail; stand still and watch God's Word come to life. Recognize that God has granted us the power and authority to address such accusations. We must remember that the Word of God is intricately woven, written, and spoken to work on our behalf."
📖 Matthew 16:17-19 (KJV) 📖
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven."
When the enemy attempts to attack the church, his schemes will not succeed. Understand how to use the entrusted keys effectively. We possess the power to utilize these keys, and God has granted us the authority to do so. These aren't just any keys; they are the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, enabling us to bind and loose.
In this season, speak less and let the fruit of your prayer life manifest. Excessive talking, gossiping, and ridiculing inadvertently attack the church, observed by the world. Reflect on your actions and consider whether they align with God's pleasure.
In prayers, remember Matthew 6:10 (KJV): "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Recognize your role as priests, appointed to approach the throne of God, aligning with God's established will in Heaven. 🙏✨
🌟Knowing Your Purpose🌟
In the journey of faith, understanding our purpose is essential. Let's look into Misty Holmes Dorsey's insights from "The Prize Fight" to deepen our understanding.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
God's plans for us are filled with promise and hope. Reflect on Misty's words: "Knowing your purpose and walking it out in the Spirit will arm you with the artillery to take out any enemy that comes up to you." Our purpose equips us for spiritual battles, guiding us towards victory through faith.
Discipline and Determination
"Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed." - Proverbs 16:3 (NLT)
Just as a dedicated athlete trains rigorously, we're called to discipline ourselves in pursuing God's purpose. Misty emphasizes the importance of commitment and determination, drawing inspiration from her father's focused determination. Let's commit our actions to the Lord, trusting in His guidance for our journey.
Accountability and Purposeful Relationships
"As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." - Proverbs 27:17 (NLT)
We're not meant to journey alone. Purposeful relationships sharpen and strengthen our faith. Like Misty's encouragement to seek accountability and support in pursuing our purpose, let's surround ourselves with friends who uplift and align with God's vision for our lives.
Facing the Real You
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." - Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT)
Facing ourselves authentically is crucial. Misty urges us to confront our motives and thoughts, allowing God to cleanse and guide us. Let's echo the psalmist's prayer, inviting God to search our hearts and lead us in His everlasting ways.
Pursuing Destiny with Sacrifice
"Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.'" - Matthew 16:24 (NLT)
Following Christ involves sacrifice. Misty's analogy of a boxer's disciplined focus resonates with the call to give up our own desires and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Let's embrace the sacrifices required in pursuing God's purpose, trusting His plans above our own.
Activating the Word
"For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires." -
Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)
Lastly, Misty highlights the power of God's Word. When we declare and decree His promises, transformation occurs. Let's activate the Word in our lives, allowing it to penetrate our hearts, renew our minds, and guide us in fulfilling our purpose.
Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the purpose You've ordained for our lives. Help us to walk in discipline, surrounded by purposeful relationships, and guided by Your Word. May we face ourselves honestly and embrace the sacrifices required as we pursue Your purpose. In Jesus' name, Amen.

🌟 Embracing the Season of Focus 🌟
📖 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." - Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
In our Christian walk, challenges and life circumstances are part of the daily landscape. Some trials seem more formidable than others. As we embark on this journey, let's explore living the spirit-filled life promised by Christ for those who choose to walk after the SPIRIT and not after the FLESH.
Galatians 5:16 reminds us, "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." In the past, many strived for holiness, righteousness, and sanctification through self-discipline and embracing correction as a tool for growth.
However, times have changed. The Church has mirrored the world, adopting a fast-food mentality, seeking instant gratification without aligning with God's Word. Yet, God remains constant, and His unchanging nature is our anchor.
James 1:17 (AMP) reassures us, "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above." Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and the Lord does not change (Malachi 3:6).
It's time for the Church to awaken from slumber. Self-discipline and self-denial are crucial in these times. Let's buffet our bodies to avoid becoming castaways. Crucifixion with Christ means leaving behind our old lives. If your past still haunts your present, it's time for the flesh to die.
Apostle Paul, in Galatians 2:19, declares death to worldly influences. It may seem impossible, but with GOD, all things are possible (2 Chronicles 20:20). Being crucified with Christ involves surrendering selfish ambitions, desires, lust, and motives.
🔍 Reflections:
Take a self-inventory and identify aspects of self holding you in bondage. Surrender them to God today. Listen to the Spirit, resisting the temptation to reason His voice away. Declare your willingness to turn these aspects over to God.
🙏🏾 Declaration:
I declare today to surrender [list your specific aspects] to God. I choose to crucify my flesh, embracing the spirit-filled life promised by Christ. My focus is on walking in the Spirit, aligning with His unchanging Word. Amen.
Let's embark on this journey of focus, self-reflection, and surrender. May the season of crucifixion bring forth a renewed spirit within us. 🙂 #FocusOnFaith #CrucifiedWithChrist #SpiritOverFlesh #SpiritOverFlesh

🚀 Embrace Focus: Spirit-Filled for a Distraction-Free Life 🚀
🌟 "You Must Be Spirit-Filled" 🌟
Distractions surround us, pulling us away from the path of purpose. In John 3:6, we're reminded that the flesh seeks self-pleasures, craving control and feeding on our emotions. It's a constant battle, but amidst it, God's voice persists, guiding us.
Romans 8:7 highlights the conflict between the flesh and the Spirit, emphasizing the need for submission to the Spirit in our Christian walk. Acknowledge the weakness of the flesh (Romans 7:18), but don't surrender.
In Romans 7:25-8:2, victory emerges for those who walk in the Spirit. Choose focus over condemnation. Break the barriers within, allowing the Spirit to lead you into God's freedom.
John 6:63 amplifies the Spirit's power over distractions, breathing life into your journey. Though the process takes time, submit to it. Let the Word of God transform you, severing ties with the past.
God's will is for a distraction-free, abundant life in Christ Jesus. To achieve this, be Spirit-filled. Trust God, take a leap of faith, and allow the Spirit to guide you into a life focused on purpose.
Today, starve distractions. Place yourself on the altar of Jesus. Matthew 16:17 reminds us: true revelation comes from the Spirit, not the distractions of the flesh.
Spirit-filled, old distractions pass away, and a focused, new life begins. Check if you're still tethered to the past; being Spirit-filled means embracing focus daily. Jot down reminders of your commitment to a distraction-free life in Christ. 🎯

🔥 Staying Focused in the Face of Challenges 🔥
Bringing Thoughts and Emotions Into Captivity
📖 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." - 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
Today, let's focus on staying steady this season, not letting challenges distract us.
Challenges have the potential to sidetrack us, stir our emotions, and make us miss our now moment in God—our "kairos" moments. "Kairos" is an ancient Greek word meaning the opportune or appointed time. These are moments designed by God, crucial for our growth and purpose. The enemy seeks to make us miss these divine moments, pushing us off course, causing purpose and destiny to be delayed, and leading to discouragement. This can tempt us to leave our purpose, eventually leading us into sin.
Cry out to God; ask Him to crucify your flesh. Submit to God, resist the devil, and watch him flee (James 4:7).
🔥 Key Reminder:
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." - 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
Don't be a target. Satan wants to devour you—consume, destroy, overwhelm, and demolish. Catch your thoughts, good or bad, and bring them into captivity. Don't let old memories hold you hostage. Don't allow others to control your emotions or movements.
🙏 Daily Practice:
Cast fleshly desires and emotions to God daily. Remember, you die daily. Kill every fleshly desire by nailing them to the cross (Matthew 12:43-45).
💡 Philippians 4:6-9 Strategy:
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." - Philippians 4:6 (KJV)
Replace worries with the Word of God. Think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. The mind of Christ must act in your now!
🔥 Reflections:
Today, cast your cares on God. Fill your mind and heart with the Word. When you cast something to God, replace it with His Word. Read and meditate on Philippians 4:6-9.
Let's stay focused, casting distractions away and embracing our "kairos" moments with God. 🌟 #StayFocusedInChrist #ThoughtsInCaptivity #EmbraceTheWord #KairosMoments #PurposeAndDestiny

🌟Focus Amid Challenges: Creating New Memorials 🌟
Create A New Memorial
📖 "Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem." - Nehemiah 2:20 (KJV)
Our past experiences, whether positive or negative, silently create memorials within us. These memorials shape our responses and reflections, impacting our present and future. What we allow to build these memorials can either align with God's will or oppose it.
Unfortunately, memories tied to negativity can transport us back to places of bondage, wounds, and rejection, influencing our emotions and thoughts. The key is to rehearse what God says about us daily, consciously aligning our emotions with His will.
Consider Nehemiah's story in Nehemiah 2:18-20. Despite mockery and scorn from Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem, Nehemiah declared they would have no portion, right, or memorial in Jerusalem. Knowing what you want to be remembered and celebrated is crucial.
🔑 Key Lesson:
Dislodge negative thoughts before they take root. Fortify your Spirit by putting things in their proper place. Refocus on your assignment, not allowing distractions to deter you.
🔥 Spiritual Practice:
When faced with distracting thoughts or negativity, visualize the cross. Remind yourself that issues nailed to the cross are not worth your attention. This aligns with walking in the Spirit.
📖 Galatians 5:16-26 (KJV):
Walk in the Spirit, resisting the lust of the flesh. Crucify the flesh with its affections and lusts. Strive to manifest the fruit of the Spirit.
💭 Reflection:
Destroy damaging memorials and create new ones based on what God has spoken about you. Celebrate with praise! Let this be a day of renewal and focus. 🙌 #StayFocusedInChrist #NewMemorials #WalkInTheSpirit #RenewYourMind

Stay Focused, Be Born Again Journey ✨
Hello everyone! On this day, let's reflect on John 3:7 (KJV): "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
In the Old and New Testament, encounters with God transformed lives. The power and authority of Christ and His disciples brought change. What's your role in the Body of Christ? Are you walking in your destiny?
Let's talk about progress. Embracing a transformation involves letting go of the old self to embrace the newness found in Christ. If you find yourself unchanged, it might be time to reevaluate your Christian walk. In Day 6, we delved into the concept of being born again. If the Kingdom of God seems difficult to grasp, consider examining your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
🔍 Stay Focused on God: Amidst distractions, focus on hearing the Holy Spirit. Follow His instructions and don't be swayed by the voice of the enemy. Stay committed to the path God has set for you.
Don't quench the Spirit; let Him guide. Dying means turning from desires not aligned with God. Become His new creation.
Remember, His sheep hear His voice. Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Christ. Let the Holy Spirit convict.
Reflections: Examine, list what besets you. Seek Scriptures on being born again.
Share your experience! #BornAgainJourney #StayFocusedOnGod #transformationtuesday

Embrace Your Newness, Stay Focused
Blessings Family,
🌈 Today, let's begin to look at Lazarus in John 11:20-44 (KJV).
https://bit.ly/scripturereadingJohn11
Changing our mindset is a challenge we all face as humans. Thoughts constantly flow through our minds, making it tough to shut down. To walk in the Spirit, we must wage war against thoughts opposing God's knowledge.
Our old nature resists dying and seeks resurrection daily. Thoughts from the past, if dwelled upon, breathe life into the old self. Pull down and intercept thoughts that prevent the resurrection of flesh and those things we have crucified with Christ.
"Take ye away the stone... for he hath been dead four days." (John 11:39). Trying to resurrect past sins emits a foul odor. Christ, however, resurrects things killed in us that align with our destiny. 🌅
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me." (Galatians 2:20). When tempted to revive what Christ has crucified, resist. You are transformed, not conformed. 🔄
Surround yourself with believers who encourage your walk. Evaluate those who may lead you to rehearse crucified pasts. Resurrecting the dead emits a smell; others notice, even if you don't.
🔍 Stay Focused on Your Purpose: Do not let the enemy resurrect what Christ has crucified. Remind yourself of God's Word and surround yourself with supportive believers who share the same desire for God's will. 📖
Reflections: Identify those ordained to speak into your life, reminding you of your value and purpose. Don't allow the enemy to lead you back to the graveyard of your past. You are a new creation in Christ! 🌿✨ #StayFocused#EmbraceNewness #RenewedInChrist 🙌🏽💪🏼🌟

Kill The What If Syndrome, Stay Focused on Your Christian Walk [✨]
On this transformative day, let's explore Philippians 3:13 (KJV): “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”
The enemy's tactic is clear—he wants to keep you living a life in tradition and religious behavior. His goal is to keep you gazing into the rearview mirror, fixated on what didn't work out, who hurt you, and the mistakes you've made. He wants you stuck in the 'if I’d' syndrome. [🤔]
• If I’d have only finished college?
• If I’d spent more time with my children?
Living in regret, focused on the negatives of the past, hinders your progress in the things of God. It allows the old self to persist and prevents the new man from emerging. Picture this: you can see the next step, but the 'buts' and past memories keep resurfacing. Don't let the 'if I’d' overshadow the 'I will.'
Failure is not the absence of success; it's the reluctance to take the next steps due to insecurities and a lack of faith in God. Step out into the new man, letting go of what didn’t work out: hurts, pains, disappointments, failures. Free yourself from the mental obstacles that play on repeat, hindering the realization of your greatest achievements.
God told Joshua, "you will have good success." Success is within reach, both in the natural and supernatural. Satan desires you to live in fear, but perfect love casts out fear. Embrace the prophetic, move forward, and don't remain ignorant. Learn from yesterday without letting it imprison your today.
Reflect on Hebrews 12:1 (KJV): "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."
[🔍] Stay Focused on Your Christian Walk: Lay aside the weights of the past. Make a list of things God instructed you to do. Repent for any delay, and step into the orchestrated plan for victory that God has set before you!
Reflections: List the things God instructed you to do but were delayed. Repent and step into God’s plan, knowing victory is on your side! [📝] [🙏🏽] [🚀] #StayFocused #KillTheWhatIf #ChristianWalk [🌟]

🌟 Breaking Free from Past Relationships 🌟
January 19, 2024
On this January 19, 2024, we reflect on 1 Samuel 16:1 (KJV): "And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel?"
Mourning over relationships God has ended or ones that once held value can be challenging. God's rejection of Saul signifies closure. Today, declare, "My now is greater than my past, so I am pressing forward."
Seer Samuel invested in Saul, but God rejected him. Letting go is tough, especially when others move on, and you feel stuck. God interrupts, asking, "How long will you mourn what's lost?" Continuing to mourn halts progress.
"Fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons." - 1 Samuel 16:1 (KJV)
God says, "Quit mourning; move forward, and I'll provide another king." Stop blaming yourself; others make choices. Anchor in God, shed weights, and put on the new man.
Despite disappointment, rise from the ashes. Shake loose from bitterness; deepen your relationship with Christ.
Reflections: Increase time with God, memorize 3 Scriptures for strength. Apply them when past circumstances try to define your present. Get back on track, and remember, staying focused is crucial—a key of the Kingdom of God. #BreakFree #MovingForward #StayFocused 🌟
🚀 Surrendered Saturday: Stay Focused! 🚀
On this January 20, 2023,
Let's reflect on Romans 12:1-2 (KJV): "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God... be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind..."
God has begun a good work in you, and you are being transformed! Your decision to follow Christ changes your life forever. Old things pass away when you enter a personal relationship with Him. 🔄
Confessing salvation without a transformed lifestyle raises questions. As disciples of Christ, our love should distinguish us. Killing what hurts is painful, but Jesus, the miracle worker, desires to transform you. 🌟
Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, allow the old man to die. Soar like an eagle, leaving behind those who resist change. Hanging out with visionless individuals stifles potential. Continue putting the old man to death, embracing new realms, ordained assignments, and meeting ordained people. 🦋
Not trying to tell you to forget people, but don't allow those resistant to change to cause you to lose focus and remain stifled in your old man. 🌪️
Reflections: Allow the mind of Christ to resonate; dream and step out in faith. Put visions into action; you can do all things through Christ. Remember, you are ordained for good success! 🚀 #surrenderedsaturday #StayFocused #RenewYourMind #NewBeginnings ✨

Don't Let Emotions Control You 🌟
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
Colossians 3:2 (KJV)
Examine reactions and fears. Holding onto the familiar outside God’s will hinders growth. Emotions have roots; address them to avoid missing your mark. Unchecked emotions can lead to imbalance.
Paul urges transformation by renewing the mind (Romans 12:2). Deal with feelings, or they'll deal with you. Walk in the Spirit to overcome fleshly desires (Galatians 5:16-17).
Fight emotions; be led by the Spirit. Reflections: Examine emotions in line with the Spirit. Clean house if needed. Set your affections on things above.
🌈 Embrace the journey of overcoming emotions; victory is yours through Christ. 🏆 Don't let emotions steal your focus; divine visitation awaits. 🙏 Choose joy over turmoil, faith over fear.
🌺 Your transformation is a process; trust God's timing. 🌈 Today, declare emotional freedom in Christ. 🕊️ Let the peace of God rule in your heart. #DivineVisitation #EmotionalVictory #TransformedHeart"
🌟 Faith Is A Key To Crucifying Your Flesh 🌟
Monday, January 22, 2024
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 (KJV)
Discipline your flesh to align with the spirit, remembering you are not your own but bought with a price. Walk by faith, not by sight. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, so immerse yourself in it to increase your faith.
The Word builds faith, giving courage to walk by faith, relying on the spiritual rather than the tangible. Learn self-discipline through the Word, growing in a deeper commitment to God's ways. Self-discipline helps crucify the flesh, preventing it from gaining an advantage.
The flesh resists submission and doesn't want to die, but listening to the Word starves the flesh, training it to submit to God. While the flesh is influenced by the senses, faith is attracted to the Word of God. Discipline is essential to walk in the spirit continually.
Truth makes us free (John 8:32), and where there is faith, truth is present. Reflect on your responses to carnal things, track your progress, and witness the transformation as faith grows within you.
📖✨ Let the Word of God shape your faith and guide your responses. 🙏 Walk in the victory of faith, crucifying the flesh daily. 🌈 Track your spiritual progress and celebrate victories over carnality. #FaithJourney #CrucifyTheFlesh #SpiritualDiscipline"
The Power of Prayer and Fasting
January 23, 2024
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
Prayer and fasting, a dynamic spiritual duo! Fasting, when coupled with earnest prayer, becomes a spiritual atomic bomb, demolishing strongholds and defeating demonic forces. Open your mouth to pray and close it to fast, allowing the wave of God's glory to bring revival and awakening.
Scripture teaches that prayer and fasting align us with God's perfect will. It deepens our relationship with Him, sharpens our spiritual senses, and turns our focus from seeking God's hand to seeking His face. Discipline your flesh through fasting, starving the carnal to make way for God's will on earth through you.
Approach prayer and fasting with a repentant spirit. It brings healing and deliverance, not only to the land but to individuals who choose to starve undesirable behaviors, actions, and deeds.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
Matthew 17:21 (KJV)
Prayer and fasting birth revival, changing the trajectory of nations, communities, families, workplaces, governments, and individual lives. Let God's power operate as you fast, granting the Holy Spirit complete freedom to fulfill the Father's will.
Reflections:
Pray about fasting, immerse yourself in Scriptures on fasting, and keep a daily journal. Witness God's movement during the fast. When discouragement creeps in, remember, fasting is about starving the flesh, allowing God's will to reign supreme. 🌟 Be Of Good Cheer; You Are An Overcomer 🌟
January 24, 2024
📖 John 16:33 🙌 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Have you ever thought you'd moved past a situation only to discover the hurt runs more profound than you realized? You've prayed and felt stronger, and suddenly, unforeseen events stir your emotions, taking you back to a place you thought you'd left.
Past hurts resurface, prompting a cry from deep within. Despite believing you were healed, the reality hits: it's still there. We all grapple with hurt, whether apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, preacher, or layperson. Let the Holy Spirit heal the vulnerabilities in your relationships. Examine your heart and the reasons behind your commitments.
Awakened by your flesh, the Devil aims to divert you from God's purpose. Yes, past hurts wound us, but we declare that God is greater.
Crucial to living is the mortification of the deeds of the body. Addressing the core and allowing that root to be obliterated is essential. While silencing outer pain by killing the flesh, it is imperative to tackle the root. Like an onion, where the strength of the smell intensifies closer to the core, dealing with the core, not just the surface, is vital. God orchestrates the process, peeling away layers to instruct you in healing from within. You are adequately equipped to navigate through discomfort and tears. The righteous shall not be forsaken.
God replaces hurt with Himself—love, forgiveness, mercy, and tenderness. Examine your heart; ensure love and forgiveness flow freely. Repent and accept God's love as the healing balm (Jeremiah 8:22).
The enemy won't triumph over you. You're in Him, and He is in you.
Reflections: Release the hurt to God. Let the Holy Spirit flood your soul. Every time pain surfaces, give it back to God. Know that God cares for you. Write down hurts; ask God to take them and let His love overshadow your heart, will, and emotions.
📖 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) 🙏 "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

🌟 Overcoming Your Appetite 🌟
January 25, 2024
📖 Romans 6:18 (KJV) - "For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple."
In today's prayer, let's draw near to God, setting ourselves apart from unrighteousness and embracing righteous living. The battle with the flesh is relentless, but those struggles no longer exist after crucifying its desires.
🌿 These daily devotions help and encourage us to continue to put the deeds of the flesh to death, empowering us to possess the gates of hell and advance the Kingdom of God.
💡 When we examine the church through God's eyes, mouth, and heart, does it align with the teachings of Christ? Compromise has crept in due to our appetites and fears. God seeks a radiant bride, not one resembling the world. Transformation, not conformity, is our goal.
📖 Ephesians 5:1-8 encourages us to imitate God, walking in love and avoiding behaviors unbefitting saints. Fornication, uncleanness, covetousness, filthiness, foolish talking – these should have no place among us. We must cleanse our garments and walk in the newness of Christ.
🌟 Philippians 2:5 urges us to adopt the mind of Christ. Are we preparing for His return, purifying our soulish garments stained by our appetites? Good intentions can be misconstrued as evil if not washed in the blood of Jesus.
✨ Jesus is coming back for a spotless church. Stained garments indicate lingering appetites, requiring the cleansing power of Jesus' blood. We must cease looking to the world for our needs and desires and start aligning with God's will, mind, and counsel.
🌈 Reflect on the difficulty in walking in obedience and established grace. Salvation doesn't automatically deliver from behaviors that satisfy the belly. Reflect on why it seems challenging to align your mind with Christ's and submit to His authority.
🙏 Philippians 2:5 - "Let this mind be in you,
which was also in Christ Jesus."
🚀 Choose to be delivered, reflect on your struggles, and submit to God. Your victory over your belly lies in submitting to God's will.
Reflection:
Acknowledge the reality of your struggle, knowing that God is bigger than your challenges. Submit to God and resist temptation, as He has already provided a way of escape. Reflect on the questions posed in these devotions, applying God's Word to your life.

🌟Stay Focused: Don't Let Your Belly Overtake You 🌟
January 26, 2024
“For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” - Romans 6:18 (KJV)
Embarking on the journey to conquer the demands of our belly, it's crucial to be surrounded by like-minded believers who share a genuine desire for the things of God.
When we yield to our bellies, a spiritual indictment occurs, leading to offense and division as we prioritize our bellies over God. It's vital to recognize that our bellies lack intelligence and senses, and we must refrain from heeding their deceptive whispers.
The path we're called to pursue is that of God's will, not succumbing to appetites that can lead to spiritual brokenness and bondage. The Holy Spirit's guidance becomes paramount as we learn to turn down the plates offered by our bellies.
Drawing a clear line between the fleshly desires of the world and the spirit is essential. Disciplining the flesh through control over its desires is the key to fortifying the spirit within.
As we yield to the cravings of our flesh, it becomes a two-fold battle, affecting not only our actions but also biting down on our inner selves. The journey of crucifying the flesh involves dismantling the avenues through which our mouths and eyes can deceive us and others.
Reflecting on the biblical narrative in Genesis 3:1-24, we understand the consequences of succumbing to our desires. Overcoming our bellies brings us closer to God, but we must be cautious of the affection between our tongues and bellies.
The ministry of the belly, with its persuasive pull on our tongues, can be deceptive, leading us to connect with desires without fully processing the cost. Tasting before seeing becomes a metaphor for the allure of instant gratification.
Recognizing the belly as the seat of carnal affections, we understand the necessity of overcoming its influence to lead a crucified life. Worshiping or entertaining our bellies becomes a hindrance to attaining the deep things of God, emphasizing the importance of discipline.
In Luke 4:4, Jesus' response highlights the significance of living not just by physical desires but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Practical steps involve learning to turn off distractions such as the stove, sink, dishwasher, and television, immersing ourselves in the serene aroma of prayer.
Reflecting on the narrative of Jacob and Esau in Genesis 25:29-34, we realize the consequences of uncontrolled appetites—selling our birthrights and forfeiting our inheritance.
As we navigate this journey, the reflection is a call to make a conscious decision to embrace the crucified life. Allowing God to speak to our appetites, understanding the 'why' behind our belly's desire for control, we use Scriptures to shut down the wrong paths. Rehearsing and allowing the Word of God to renew our appetites, minds, and wills become integral to the process.

🌿 Love That Will Set You Free 🌟

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." - 1 John 4:7-8 (KJV)
Many carry wounds from love gone wrong. God's love is different; it's unconditional, without strings attached. In a world of conditional love, God's love stands out.
Matthew 5:44 (KJV) - Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
Loving enemies seems impossible, but it defines us as disciples of Christ. We were once enemies of God, yet He loved and reconciled us.
Romans 5:10 (KJV) - For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Colossians 1:21 (KJV) - And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.
Before we knew Christ, He loved us. Love covers a multitude of sins; it's a powerful weapon against the enemy. Love led Christ to the cross, kept Him there, and raised Him from the dead.
1 Peter 4:8 (KJV) - Above all things have fervent charity (love) among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Learn to let go; holding grudges strengthens the flesh and hinders God's purpose. The enemy tries to distort God's love, but being open to God's love brings healing.
Reflect on your love; journal and ask God to help you love as He does. Let God replace your heart with His, embracing His unconditional love. 🌟📖 #UnconditionalLove #LoveOneAnother #SetFreeInLove #ReflectAndLove #KingdomLove

"Immerse yourself in the love that surpasses boundaries: As the Father loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in this love, keeping my commandments. Through this, joy remains, and your joy becomes complete." 📖 John 15:9-11 (KJV)
Let's embark on a journey to mature love that propels us forward. Deliverance marks the beginning; true freedom unfolds in the newness that Christ brings. Embrace the truth that sets you free, demolishing old paths and keeping your eyes on the prize in Christ Jesus.
Victory stems from knowing we are conquerors, with God's love prevailing. To attain the promised freedom, let love be the guiding force in our hearts. Without love, joy becomes fleeting, and the enemy exploits areas where love is underdeveloped, attaching like a leech.
Leeches thrive where love is absent, causing pain while numbing our awareness. Unresolved issues become open doors for these spiritual leeches. Let us not allow their attachment; instead, invite the Holy Ghost's power to eradicate them.
Love serves as the key to growth and maturity, enabling us to strengthen in God's glory. Born again into love, we're reminded that God is love (John 3:16). To conquer the enemy, surrender every emotion, pain, regret, and disappointment to God. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.
True compassion, mirrored in Christ's forgiveness on the cross, manifests when the Father's heart becomes our heart. Let's unite with the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, adopting the mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5).
To gain victory over the enemy, surrender your life and every emotion, pain, regret, and disappointment to God. Galatians 2:20 encourages us to live by the faith of the Son of God who loved us. Avoid murky places, submit to God, resist the devil, and flow in the love and blood of Jesus.
Reflections: Today, Embrace Love Luke 6:27-29 (KJV) 27 Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you. 29 Offer the other cheek; let love guide your actions. 🌹

🔥 The Benefits of Living A Crucified Life 🔥
January 29, 2024
“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.” - Luke 14:27 (KJV)
Reflecting on years of counseling and personal experience, a key stumbling block for many Christians worldwide is not letting Jesus Christ be Lord in every area of life.
Crucifying the flesh daily, denying its desires, goes against the norm. Surrendering all to Christ means giving an absolute and total yes to Him. This disciplined decision involves submitting our mind, will, and emotions to Jesus, making Him the Lord of our lives.
Yet, the benefits are profound, though they come at a cost. Jesus said, “Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.” - Mark 8:34-35 (KJV)
Recite these benefits:
Christ Liveth In Me
Galatians 2:20 (KJV) - "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me."
Bring Forth Much Fruit
John 12:24 (KJV) - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."
I Will Not Fail Nor Forsake Thee
Joshua 1:5 (KJV) - "There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
My Words Abide In You, Ask and Receive
John 15:7 (KJV) - "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
They Will Hear the Voice of God
John 10:27 (KJV) - "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
God Will Draw Nigh To You
James 4:8 (KJV) - "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
Binding and Loosing
Matthew 16:19 (KJV) - "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
Forgiveness
Matthew 6:14 (KJV) - "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Ye Shall Never Fall
2 Peter 1:10 (KJV) - "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall."
Eternal Life
John 5:24 (KJV) - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
Reflections: Rehearse and meditate on Scriptures. Identify struggles, write them down, and release them to God. 📖✨ #CrucifiedLifeBenefits #SurrenderToChrist #DiscipleOfChrist #ScriptureMeditation #StayFocusedOnTheCross #FaithJourney #ChristianLiving
